The extensive landscaping, filled with plants both soft and dramatic in equal measure, stretches from the street entry to the water below, surrounds a contemporary, light filled family home by Jorge Hrdina Architects. At the outset the owner spoke of the lush, semi-wild garden of her childhood and this is what we strived to capture in the design. The garden features a simple rooftop planting outside the master bedroom and sandstone terraces packed with native and low maintenance plants leading to a swimming pool and cabana.
